    NOBULL is currently seeking a Footwear Design Intern to support the design team.  This individual will learn the different stages of the footwear creation process – from establishing initial design themes, refining concepts through ideation and brainstorming, through development and manufacturing details. Overall, their role in the design process will provide functional footwear knowledge on how to design and manufacture athletic footwear as well as an exposure to color and material selections.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the design team in seasonal footwear design activities
    • Create mood boards to help set the direction for concepts
    • Sketch and ideate together with the team and independently on specific footwear briefs
    • Work on colorways and color & material strategies for product concepts
    • Translate designs into Adobe Illustrator tech packs
    • Help organize and maintain an easy to navigate design file server

    Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program for a relevant design field
    • Great at multi-tasking
    • Organized and attentive to detail
    • Resourceful and pro-active
    • Team player and positive energy
    • Adobe Illustrator is a must; Photoshop is a plus.
    • Strong hand sketching skills
