    The Junior HR Advisor is responsible for assisting our HR Services team in providing a wide range of human resource functions to our clients, including but not limited to, employee guidelines, compliance training, recruitment, HR policy and HR procedures, HR Assessments and on-going advice on state and federal regulatory compliance. This is a fast-paced position, that requires superb communication and written skills, as well as a high level of attention to detail.


    • Assists in the in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manuals
    • Assists HR Advisors in conducting HR audits; taking strong meeting notes and preparing initial gap analysis drafts and preparing follow up items
    • Assist in the development of offer letters, job descriptions and other personnel documents and forms
    • Assists in researching responses to requests received from clients through email and by phone in a timely manner, including but not limited to issues that are sensitive in nature
    • Conduct training demonstrations for I-9 Advantage and assist in any follow up items
    • Assist in filing client compliance reports such as EEO-1 and Affirmative Action Plans
    • Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in daily tasks
    • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
    • Ability to drive to client sites on occasion throughout New England area
    • Assist the Team Leaders or Department Head to develop scalable processes and procedures as they relate to the HR Services team providing exceptional customer service to our client
    • Serves as backup support to HR Administrative Assistant for compliance poster ordering and reconciliation
    • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and insures client’s compliance
    • Participates in professional development sessions and trainings
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned
    • Continues to educate oneself on new aspects and areas of compliance in payroll, benefits and human resources as the opportunity arises
    • Work on special projects for clients if needed


    • At least 2 years of recent experience in a Human Resource Generalist role
    • The verbal communication skills to communicate with a diverse client group
    • The written communication skills to produce succinct correspondence and reports
    • The ability to research, analyze and reason logically within tight and conflicting timeframe
    • Demonstrated ability to take initiative
    • Project management experience; e. implementing a project from conception to completion
    • Strong computer proficiency; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Forward thinker, Strong level of influence and effective leadership skills with the ability to inspire collective success
    • Excellent business acumen, organizational, problem-solving, project and time management skills
    • Keen attention to detail, strong administrative and analytical skills
    • Reliable with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity
    • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt at prioritizing responsibilities and tasks to effectively meet deadlines
    • Personable, a good listener and can effectively communicate with all staff and client types through both written and verbal means
    • Works efficiently both independently and as a member of a larger team
    • Willing and flexible to help with any urgent issues that happen to arise at the firm, even if they are outside the immediate scope of the role
