    Our client, Ampion, Inc., is a nationwide turnkey Software as-a-Service (SaaS) solution that manages business processes for renewable energy assets. Since being founded in 2014, their state-of-the-art software and experienced team have been meeting the increasing demands for support in all things energy, regulatory analysis and customer acquisition.

     

    Ampion is seeking a Billing Analyst to process and reconcile incoming payments on behalf of their clients. This individual will also support the development of billing functions within the company’s software solutions. Ampion constantly encourages their employees to think outside the box and take on new challenges.     Responsibilities

    • Process and reconciling incoming payments on behalf of Ampion’s clients
    • Flag and follow up on any billing discrepancies
    • Help to maintain the billing spreadsheet
    • Support check processing and check handling
    • Work with the billing team to develop financial and economic reporting to be used live in software production
    • Consult with the billing team on accounting fundamentals and review new billing processes for workability
    • Help to organize data collection for new customers
    • Perform quality assurance for the monthly billing process
    • Other duties or projects as assigned       

    Qualifications

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience
    • 2 or more years of experience in a bookkeeping or billing role
    • Proficient in MS Excel including intermediate to advanced functions
    • Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
    • High level of accountability and the ability to take the lead on tasks
    • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing prioritizes, effectively meeting deadlines
    • Excellent organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, strong administrative and analytical skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to work with highly confidential material
    • Ability to interact with all levels of management to communicate opportunities and risks, and identify and provide recommendations to improve financial performance
