    KEA Technologies, Inc. (KEA), established in 2015, is an engineering research and development small business located in Marlborough, Massachusetts that provides engineering solutions to the transportation industry.  KEA staff has performed transportation R&D work for the past 25 years in the railroad and automotive arena.  KEA is made up of a wide range of world-renowned and experienced engineering consultants with expertise in various transportation safety fields. KEA’s areas of expertise include advanced automotive and railroad technologies, mechanical design, human factors, and various applications of behavioral, cognitive, and experimental psychology and psychophysiology.


    KEA Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a high caliber Driver. The qualified applicant will become a member of multi-disciplinary team including engineering professionals and subject-matter experts. The Driver will support the testing of an innovative device being developed for vehicles by transporting test subjects and helping to record trial data.


    • Responsible for the safe transportation and daily testing of alcohol detection devices in vehicles.
    • Maintains a daily route and schedule in a timely manner.
    • Instructs passenger study participants on the use and care of devices as well as the process and procedures for testing. Must maintain a high level of product knowledge.
    • Conduct in-vehicle experiments in accordance with documented protocols.
    • Completes reports and summaries of work.
    • Ensures that all paperwork/data entry relevant to the position is returned and thoroughly completed without errors.
    • Maintains the physical and mechanical condition of his/her assigned company vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be cleaned regularly and service coordinated with the appropriate company support personnel.
    • Assists staff and initiates continuous improvement.
    • Follow OSHA safety protocols.


    • High school degree or equivalent required.
    • Current driver’s license with a “Clean” RMV/DMV driving record which includes but is no major offenses, or no serious offenses within the past 10 years, and no moving violations within the past 3 years.
    • Pass a criminal background check with no convictions involving violent offenses, or no felony or misdemeanor convictions in the past 5 yrs
    • Drivers First Aid desirable.
    • Possess a willingness and ability to learn additional technical skills, when required.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Candidate should be well organized, detail oriented, and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Able to follow process instructions accurately and consistently.
    • This position requires strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment advancing the state of the art and creating highly innovative devices
    • The ability to understand equipment operation and be able to identify potential problems with the equipment through observation and to escalate resolution to the next level.
    • Periodic over-night travel may be required.
