  • Overview

    The Human Resources Internship provides opportunities for students to gain knowledge and experience in various functions of the HR industry. The right candidate will assist in the day-to-day support of our clients and internal staff.


    • Assist department (payroll, benefits, human resources, technology) with projects
    • Assist in answering and directing incoming calls to appropriate individuals
    • Assist in printing of New Hire Kits and Marketing Collateral
    • General administrative duties
    • Provide technical support to employees as necessary with regard to non-ADP related issues (i.e. network connectivity, printer connectivity, software issues (Microsoft Office Suite), the setup and/or relocation of work station and/or phones
    • Maintain the postage machine and an adequate stock of shipping supplies
    • Responsible for shipping packages via FedEx and the postage machine
    • Ensuring conference rooms are presentable at the beginning of each day
    • Set-up/break down conference rooms for company meetings (i.e. projectors, tables, design, etc.)
    • Provide support for the leadership team and assist with project development as needed
    • Performs other related duties as required and assigned


    • Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program
    • Senior pursuing a degree in a field related to human resources
    • Developed computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Has initiative and willingness to learn
    • Effective leadership skills with the ability to inspire collective success
    • Excellent organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, strong administrative and analytical skills
    • Exhibits a high degree of confidentiality and integrity
    • Reliable
    • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can adapt at prioritizing responsibilities and tasks to effectively meet deadlines
    • Personable, a good listener, and can effectively communicate with all staff and client types through both written and verbal means
    • Works efficiently both independently and as a member of a larger team
    • Willing and flexible to help with any urgent issues that happen to arise at the company, even if they are outside the immediate scope of the role
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
