    Yamaha Unified Communications is looking for a talented individual to manage our marketing programs and activities for distributor, reseller and DMR channel partners such as CDW, Starin, ScanSource, Insight and many others.  The position will report to the Director of Marketing. In this position it is critical to build marketing awareness and product knowledge at our sales chain partners, collaborate with our sales team for field activities, and build out our channel programs and Partner Relationship Management (PRM) system to the field. The ability to understand the collaboration eco-system and driving engagement with our channels is critical to ensure that we have the best strategy for growing sales.


    Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 


    • Channel promotions and programs
    • Own the Marketing Development Funds (MDF): channel application review and approval, and overall MDF budget
    • Build out and optimize the PRM application experience (Allbound experience a plus)
    • Content editing and production
    • Channel marketing and sales collateral generation and distribution
    • Maintain the online catalog services (AV-iQ, CNet…)
    • Social media presence related to channels:  LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, blog management
    • Distributor and reseller event management and logistics
    • Create and implement channel communications: newsletters, product announcements and launches

We are looking for a candidate that possesses strong project management skills and will take initiative, coordinate the activities of others and manage to strict deadlines. A successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at the same time. The requirements for this position include some marketing experience in the B2B industry.


    The ideal candidate will have experience or expertise in several of the following areas: 


    • 5 – 10 years marketing experience
    • Industry experience in unified communications and collaboration, software or hardware or both
    • Verbal and written communication proficiency required
    • Strong project management and execution skills
    • Proof-reading and editing skills
    • Working proficiency with full MS Office Professional suite required
    • CRM, CMS and Marketing Automation experience a plus (Salesforce, Kentico and Act-On, for example)
    • Understanding of channel programs with experience creating and driving channel engagement
    • Understanding of Event lifecycle, from pre-event marketing, logistics and vendor management, to onsite coordination/execution and post-show evaluation
    • Exhibit strong project leadership and exercise good judgment
    • Excellent planning and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Open to occasional travel
    • BA/BS or equivalent education
