    Our client, Russell Morin Catering and Events, is a full-service caterer that has been creating memorable events through their innovative and inspiring cuisine, for over 100 years. By providing their clients with exceptional service, it allows them to relax and enjoy their special moment.

    We are currently looking to add to their highly skilled Service Personnel staff. Through strong communication and listening skills, you will provide exemplary service ensuring guests an event to remember. This role will involve assisting with set up, serving and event breakdown. As an added bonus, Russell Morin Catering and Events provides a parking and mileage assistance program to cover additional costs.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure rooms are set up per event instructions; setting up chairs, tables, linen, silverware, flatware and glassware, setting up stations (Wine, water, coffee, desert)
    • Carry, serve and clear Hors D’oeuvres
    • Provide positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner
    • Maintain proper dining experience, confirming order, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
    • The employee will always maintain a gracious manner with all guests and uphold a high level of service
    • Service Personnel will also maintain company integrity by performing our company’s four core values every day on every event
    • The Service Personnel may also be given tasks to assist other team members such as assisting bartenders to set up the bar or make specialty cocktails, preparing salads with the catering team or lighting candles for the sales team
    • Assist with breaking down events
    • Upon departing from the event, the team member will sign out with the Dining Room Captain to ensure that all duties are completed

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma / G.E.D. Equivalent
    • Previous banquet server/waiter experience a plus
    • Reliability and flexibility is a MUST
    • ServSafe or TIPS Alcohol Safety Certification (preferred)
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Punctual and ready to work at all times
    • Energetic, motivated, personable
    • Composure, resiliency and the ability to effectively work as part of a team
    • Must be able to stand/walk for several hours at a time
    • Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
    • Must have reliable transportation
