    Our client, Gurit, is a leading global supplier of composite materials, engineering services, tooling equipment, and select parts and systems.  With over 30 years experience in the practical application of composites across various market sectors and projects, from small parts to large-scale structures, combined with a unique technical approach enables Gurit to offer the complete composite solution. 

     

    Gurit's growing Marine business in Bristol, RI is seeking a motivated and energetic Jr. Sales Representative to help supply our composite solutions to a full spectrum of marine projects worldwide. We are looking for a professional who can quickly absorb and retain product knowledge, develop new prospects and maintain existing customers by building strong lasting relationships.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain and develop business within territory
    • Effectively communicate, present and demonstrate the product of the company
    • Generate quotes and orders using the company’s ERP system
    • Ensure monthly/annual sales goals (revenue and margin) are met or exceeded
    • Analyze and report market trends and business opportunities
    • Implement sales and distribution strategies with the team and head of department
    • Set and manage customer expectations
    • Develop lasting relationships with customers that foster additional opportunities
    • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships

    Qualifications

    • Degree from an accredited college or university strongly preferred
    • Entrepreneurial manner of thinking and working
    • Enthusiastic self-starter with a strong will to succeed
    • Experience and/or knowledge in the marine/boating industry a plus
    • An open personality with strong determination and ability to communicate
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
    • Ability to thrive both independently and with a team in a changing and growing industry
    • Strong communication, relationship building and organizational skills
    • French language skills a plus
    • Must be able to travel up to four nights a week in the US
