The firm was founded in 2009 to pursue investment opportunities brought about by the “great recession”. Jumbo has since grown to over 35 employees with leadership having a combined 80+ years of commercial real estate experience. Jumbo Capital invests in all property types and focuses on a range of transactions from $5-$200 million. Currently, the firm manages over 3.5 million square feet of commercial real estate in Greater Boston.


    Jumbo Capital is currently seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their growing accounting and finance team. In addition to handling expenses and revenue for existing commercial properties, this individual will perform due diligence and financial analysis for new property acquisitions and dispositions. This is an ideal position for an experienced Property Accountant with outstanding problem solving and communication skills.


    • Responsible for daily operations of 6-8 properties, the senior property accountant should be comfortable with complex commercial property types
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for properties including: variance analysis, balance sheet, reserves and capital expenditure analysis
    • Review, analyze and record adjustments and accruals to general ledger
    • Coordinate with Partners on property related financing activity
    • Prepare CAM and property tax reimbursements
    • Assist with the preparation of annual budget and property forecasts
    • Prepare or assist with the preparation of annual audit and tax return packages
    • Prepare or assist with lender reporting requirements
    • Work directly with property and asset management teams to ensure financial integrity of assigned properties
    • Participate in due diligence and financial analysis for acquisitions and dispositions


    • At least 3 -5 years of relevant industry experience in real estate or property management
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and accounting software
    • Experience with Yardi a plus
    • Creative problem solver, excited about taking on new challenges
