They are looking to add a Financial Analyst to their dynamic finance team.  This individual is responsible for supporting the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) in evaluating and forecasting future revenues and expenditures, analyzing cost structures, capital budgeting projects, financial planning, financial loan covenant compliance and M&A analysis and support. This position will work closely with ICP’s Corporate team in evaluating divisional business unit performance, investment direction and policies.  This individual will assist the Director in creating, modifying & managing financial policies and procedures, and in the preparation of periodic management and board reports and analyses.


  • Financial reconciliations and preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial and management reporting; Senior Management, Private Equity owners, Lenders, etc. Regular monitoring of business unit performance
  • Research and resolve Business Unit(s) inquiries for assigned functional areas
  • Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis
  • Investigate and report to the Manager any inconsistencies or improprieties
  • Analyze data to ensure proper accounting and financial reporting procedures have been followed
  • Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested
  • Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance, as assigned by Management
  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the Company’s performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan
  • Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by all of Finance during the planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review
  • Support FP&A business unit analysts by being the first point of contact for issues and questions
  • Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles, finance and internal controls, and apply them
  • Insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to business area partners and management to drive business results
  • Understand and facilitate the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology, in order to identify, configure, and communicate useful information, and to provide practical business leadership to drive business decision making across the company
  • Identify non-value added processes within the department/company and seeks solutions
  • Assist in maintaining a well-documented system of accounting and financial reporting policies and procedures
  • Create ad hoc reports, vet the data, and present to upper management
  • Assist in the annual budget process by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing and consolidating data and recommending plans
  • Coordinate information for external auditors and answer and resolve any open items
  • Monitor cash positions and assist with cash forecasting


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA, CPA &/or CMA is a plus)
  • Well-rounded knowledge of all Accounting functions (AR, Invoicing, AP, Inventory, Fixed Assets)
  • 2-5 years of experience within Public Accounting and/or Manufacturing Industry (Cost Accounting &/or International experience is a plus)
  • Must have strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills including building models, prior data mining and on line market research
  • Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
  • Strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to maneuver through the Accounting functions of an ERP system
  • Ability to multi-task and think outside the box
  • Highly motivated and self-starting individual with a track record of achieving objectives and meeting deadlines (Leadership / Supervisory experience is a plus)
  • Ability to keep trade secrets, operations and financial information confidential
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
