Our client, Xovis is an innovative and successful Swiss high-tech company that develops and manufactures its own people flow measurement system. Their video-based, 3D optical sensors are used in the airport and retail industry. They are doing business worldwide and are staffing their first office in the Boston area.

To serve Xovis’ airport customers in the United States even better, we are looking for a Project Engineer with a passion for travel who is willing to go the extra mile. Your job consists of on-site project work as well as remote system configuration from our Boston office. You will work closely with other project engineers based in Switzerland.   • Planning and documenting sensor positions and overseeing sensor installation work at client airport
  • Remote system configuration from our Boston office, including installation of server/client software and configuration of Xovis system
  • System commissioning and training at client airport
  • Work closely with the client to understand their particular needs
  • Address and resolve any client concerns throughout the project to ensure the best possible experience with the system


  • At least 2 years of experience in a technical role, technical project management, or another similar field
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited university, preferred
  • Profound knowledge of Windows Server and network configuration (including remote access technologies)
  • Profound knowledge of databases (MS SQL) a plus
  • Experience working with or in the aviation industry a plus
  • Outgoing personality and outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Can-do attitude, always looking for solutions rather than describing the problem
  • Ability to travel 20-40% of the time, domestically and internationally
  • German language skills a plus
